Oh wow....best burgers ever!! Definitely seems to be a "locals" hangout, but as a visitor, I always feel welcome.

Weekday lunch on the waterfront on a sunny fall day was fun and delicious. Busy, but not too crowded. Well-made, simple bar food (curds and a BLT and grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches), plus Spotted Cow on tap. Great views and the well-staffed bar made service a breeze. What's not to like in a quintessential Wisconsin bar? Summers here would be a zoo.

This place has a lot more to offer than I first thought. A nice tavern style restaurant located a few feet from Lake Geneva, the staff were fast and courteous and the food was very tasty. If I find myself back at the Abbey, I'll be sure to stop by again.

Great local bar on the water - no frills but good food, drinks, and chill ambiance. We sat at the bar of this big place. My spicy margarita was refreshing with our cheese curds (deliciously soft) and side salad. The brat burger on special was interesting and tasty - I'm glad we tried it. Basically brat flavors and toppings in the form of a burger - genius!

We had a beautiful fall day at Lake Geneva and started it out at Chuck's. We were seated immediately with a beautiful view of the lake! On this day it was very busy and there was limited table service with our order being taken at the bar. We got our food quickly and the Cajun Chicken Sandwich served on a pretzel bun was great. Will definitely be back when the weather warms up to sit outside.

I came here for lunch and it was good! I ordered the 1/3p burger and it was very tasty, the inside is also nice and tidy. There's a view of the water which was pretty!

They were extremely busy, but you wouldn't know it. From take out orders to bar orders! We sat at the bar and I was impressed with how efficient everyone was behind there!! This place is a regular bar, but has a great vibe and delicious food. My husband had one of their burgers and onion rings, both were great! I had the Ahi Tuna Salad that was seasoned and cooked well. We've gone to Gordys, but was glad someone local suggested we try Chucks. And it's always great to visit WI because Moon Man and Spotted Cow are on tap!!!

Nice joint to get a sandwich and a beer or cocktail across the street from the waters edge. Outdoor patio tables and a large bar indoors and more tables. Order at the bar and they'll bring it out to you. Be warned, it gets crazy busy. Simple menu with salads, sandwiches and pizza. My BLT was described as having six slices of bacon which was really three slices broken in half. It was served on some killer grilled bread. Another good sandwich was the Italian Beef with mozzarella cheese and giardinera. The table next to us said they loved the Bratwurst.
